Meet the #LiveLikeBecca Scholarship Recipients!

Rebecca's mother Elizabeth Knight presents the #LiveLikeBecca Scholarship
awards alongside Co-Founders Rachel Timmons and Lilah Rossi.

On June 2, 2015, almost a whole year after losing our beloved Rebecca, the #LiveLikeBecca Scholarship Committee attended the Malden High School Scholarship Night where we gave out three $1,000 scholarships to deserving seniors heading off to college. It was a bittersweet night, but overall it was humbling to see how Rebecca's legacy will live on through these three young adults who are going to contribute to the world, making it a better place. We are extremely proud of our recipients and wish them the best in their future endeavors as they continue to #LiveLikeBecca!

First Annual Live Like Becca Scholarship Night!

Hello Everybody! As the First Annual LiveLikeBecca Scholarship Night has come to an end, I just wanted to recap the events of this past weekend!

The Malden Moose was almost full to capacity and it was amazing to see just how many people Rebecca has impacted! The raffles and silent auctions were a huge success as smiles and laughter filled the room! Many people walked away from prizes such as Patriot tickets, Gift Certificates to restaurants in the area and hand made baskets donated to us.

From the raffles, silent auction, t-shirt sales, and outside donations the first annual LiveLikeBecca scholarship fund made $9,480!! This does not include ticket sales and other donations we received before the night.

I just wanted to recognize the people who made this event possible. First of all Rachel Timmons and Lilah Rossi for planning and organizing the event. Also, there are so many people that gave their all to make this event as successful as it was- Just some of these people include, The Lopresti Family, The Martin Family, The Timmons Family, and The Rossi Family. Thank you also to those who gave their Thursday nights to help brainstorm ideas and show their continuous dedication to the cause. Lastly, a huge recognition towards The Chuha Family and The Knight Family for all they have done and for opening their hearts to us!

Love, Support and Community was every where this past weekend, and I know that Rebecca was looking down on us, showing that HUGE smile!

I will keep you all posted on future fundraising events, as we will make sure the spirit of Rebecca Knight lives on forever!

Until next time!
